Sainsburys closed down it's Lovefilm service in late 2006, but we keep this review as it was for posterity.

Sainsburys offer both games only, games and DVD, and DVD rentals in affiliation with their Lovefilm parent.

It is one of the more expensive deals, even if you only want games, not a games and movie package. As with all affiliated sites, we recommend going with the original provider - in this case Lovefilm, as the service tends to be better and the range if titles and price structure is normally the same. That said, Sainsburys are the best of the Lovefilm affiliates, in our opinion, largely because of their cheaper prices.

Prices: For combination game/DVD rentals, Sainsburys offer one for £12.97 per month, two for £16.97, and three for £19.97. Notably the 3 disc package has a 30 day free trial instead of the standard 14 days. .
