We had joined just yesterday on the 10 day free trial. They say in their T&Cs that you will not be charged until the 11th day if you havent already cancelled - guess what....thay took the money £11.97 the same day I signed up for the free trial

It takes them at least TWO weeks to send you another game.
ONLY use this service if you intend to play ONE game a month( in this case you can get it cheaper from your local rental game store) They don't even deserve one star!!!!!

What a bunch of cowboys, I cancelled my account 4 months ago and it now transpires that they have been taking money from my account since. Avoid at all costs unless you want to pay 14.99 a month for nothing

Been with them for a few months now, been very good. Much quicker than Swapgame and now do 360 games as wel. No problems with customer service when i needed to contact them.

Gametart kept charging me even though I had left 3-4 months ago I emailed them many times no reply. Had to be abusive in one email for them to reply. Will never use them again as the rentals were slow took up to 2 weeks for games to come. Gametart also didn't have Xbox 360 games in Feb 06 as claimed, which made me sign up.

Shame there's not a "0 stars" for customer service. i have been emailing them for weeks about them charging me twice for my rental. "Not even a thanks for the email we'll get back to you message"... complete radio silence. I'll give 'em 2 stars for value 'cause the games do come pretty quick once you have returned them and its cheaper than buying a game and then realising you hate playing it. But the "on hold" facility allowing you to specify a game you really want is a waste of time, cause even if they reserve one for you and ask you to send a game back within three days to get it they then send you another from your list with the game you really wanted still on hold. I fear I'm gonna have to perservere with them as i reckon getting my membership cancelled is a road i dont wanna travel down. Biggest laugh is despite my constant emails of complaint to them they keep sending me emails to get me to refer friends... they're having laugh ...dont use them unless you love being frustrated !

I cancelled my free trial within the 10 days with Gametart.com and they have charged me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. How can anybody claim that it is good when if you ever want to cancel in the future - they 'try it on' and take the money from your account.

I ahve been with gametart for about ten months and upto now had no complaints as every game cmae on time.This was fine until I contacted customer service by there onsight service e-mail, to tell the my cd-rom lense had burnt out and I was unable to play cd-rom games and could they remove them from my playlists as it was a waste of time sending them to me.I got a very strange response to this from gametart who replied they wers sorry I wished to cancel my account and have now removed me from there system.I recontacted to ask why I had been removed when I clearly had not requested this,needless to say they have not replied to re connect my account.If I was not the suspicious type I would think they have done this to get me on there more expensive tarifs.

I started with GameTart about ten months ago. I have been pleased with rental system after paying good money for games that take a week or two to complete it's a great service. The site is dead easy to navigate and while I haven't had to get in touch with customer services, so can't really comment. The down side to renting is the state of some of the games. I've had to return loads of games because they're so badly scratched they skip,jump and stutter and often wont load at all. Very disappointing and I lose a week of gaming coz I have to send the game back and wait for the next one!

Absolute con! I started the free trial and all was well got my game within a couple of days no fuss then sent the game back within allocated time (10 day free trial) then i checked my bank account and i was still charged! the worst of it tho is i cannot cancell my subscription because to do so you have to call the phone number which basically is disconnected! Aviod at all costs as i am having to seek legal advice on how to go about getting my cash back which they have basically stolen from me!

Great so far, I haven't had any of the problems reported elsewhere (customer service has been quick & excellent), the game turnaround is superb. Also, Gametart are the only company i've found that will reserve the game you want for you whilst you return one to them!

Great service, been using them for over six months now, i think they believe in the saying 'the customer is always right' because if i have a problem they are always on to it and give me a refund if a problem arises.
they have a wide range of games to choose from, the only drawback is that you can only list 10 games at a time, but apart from that they are the best game rental company out there. so what if they don't email you the instructions? who reads them anyway?

Game Tart may have the best range of games, but I've been disappointed with the service. They said instructions would be emailed, but never came, and when I emailed to complain it was weeks before I got an answer. For some weird reason too the rental queue only lets you put ten titles - seems kind of counterproductive as other sites recommend you put at least ten titles in your list! Have changed back to swap game - they weren't perfect either, but at least they've got a phone number so I've got a chance of getting thing sorted out if there's a problem.

Been really pleased with Game Tart on the free trial - enough to carry on to full membership. Haven't had any problems yet - hope it stays this way!
